MARANO LAGOON

This tour starts from our Bike Point in Bibione, where bikes will be handed out and a briefing given to participants.

This tour is designed to give you a full taste of nature, combining cycle paths immersed in greenery with boat crossings into the heart of the lagoon, to discover magical places and experience the life of local fishermen.
We'll head up the Tagliamento river before heading into the countryside of lower Friuli, with its woods, ancient Roman roads and natural lagoons.

Along the way you'll be able to sample local specialities such as wine, cured meats, cheeses, locally caught fish, and organic fruit and vegetables.
An optional boat leg is also included, where we'll visit the Marano lagoon and, sailing through the fishing village, admire the area of the "casoni" — one of the most beautiful and evocative natural areas in the Veneto.
